Shop Locally

We value the locally-owned businesses in our community. They add unique character to our small town, employ local workers supporting families in our community, and contribute to the local economy. Please consider supporting our friends at these family-owned businesses!

Licensed resellers of Traeger wood-pellet grills, these folks are singlehandedly responsible for the amazing smell of smoking meats becoming commonplace around town. Owners Danielle & Marty Hardon call Tama-Toledo their hometown, Marty has also taken over his parents' local HVAC business which has been a pillar in the community for over 50 years. Danielle is a "foodie" and talented cook. Maybe you've seen her cooking videos on Facebook?

Ross Street Roasting Co. was founded in 2015 by small-town Iowa native Brian Gumm. Brian spent a year-and-a-half hobby roasting in his garage on Ross Street in Toledo, Iowa. The business scaled up from local word of mouth to begin serving cafés and retail stores, as well as maintaining an online store that serves the entire U.S. This award-winning, ethically-sourced coffee belongs in your favorite cup! As a person who didn't discover coffee until middle age, I can attest they are staying true to their mission - Turning coffee drinkers into coffee lovers!
